Hi! I'm Sylvia, who you probably know as beautycakez from YouTube. I'm an average Asian girl in my first year of college, chasing my passions in the big city of Toronto. My style varies from comfy Ugg boots and TNA sweater for school, to a classy blazer contrasted with edgy, loud jewelry and chic, Christian Louboutin boots. I prefer brand or designer names but I'll focus more on the style I'm looking for. My aim is just to stand out and inspire people.
I'm inspired by everything around me. That might be from magazines, music videos, people on the street, or whatever else catches my eye. I tend to have mini-obsessions with a certain trend at a certain time. That obsession will quickly fill up my closet. I will always go into a shopping mall with a style I'm looking for in mind and search every store until I find it. I'll try to find the most versatile pieces so I can use them to create many different outfits. Some of my favourite places to shop are Aritzia, Garage, Forever 21, YesStyle.com, French Connection, Aldo Accessories, Urban Behaviour and Urban Outfitters.

Hey! I'm Catherine! I've lived in the city for only four years now, but I frequented the GTA's most popular malls ever since I was able to walk. Of the many malls here, I would have to say Yorkdale is my favourite, with Sherway Gardens and Square One tied closely in second place.
My style, I would say, is casual chic on a regular day, but when going out or going to a special event, my style is elegant and fashion forward. If you were to peek in my closet you would see a combination of cute tops, jeans, stylish jackets, a lot of shoes and a ton of dresses! Dresses are my specialty...but I won't just get any old dress! A dress, as any outfit, whether day or evening wear, should fit perfectly and make you feel radiant all the while reflecting the current fashions. That's why it's super important to take a good look around and see what's out there!

I spend most of my shopping time looking for my new favourite top and a great fitting jean. My style is casual chic and my fashion inspiration is everywhere from the pages of Vogue to classic beauties like Jackie O to the California cool styles of Cameron Diaz and Rachel Bilson.
I believe in finding quality pieces at any price point and don't sweat an expensive purchase because the cost per wear is usually lower. I can also be caught shopping for my daughter and my husband.
Some of my favourite stores are Anthropologie, Joe Fresh, Winners and Holt Renfrew. I also love to find unique accessories at boutiques across the city.
